Overview

Like something from the inner city streets of Seoul comes a speakeasy-style establishment inspired by the nightlife scenes of Korea. Introducing Fort Lane's Seoul Night.

Hidden in plain sight, this neon-lit feeding ground's philosophy centres around bringing people together and a menu that has been designed with sharing in mind. Fitted out with an impressive roof display of indoor foliage, secluded booths and unique light fixtures, Seoul Night transports central diners to an underground basement-like eatery.

Before casting your eyes over the menu, quench your thirst with soju sangria, specifically the Watermelon Blush. Crafted with half a bottle of soju, juicy chunks of watermelon and a splash of lemonade, it's sure to impress the most discerning of drinkers.

Increasingly renowned for its Korean-influenced street food offerings, attention should be turned to the crispy pork belly. Served skin-on, succulent strips of locally sourced pork are plated with a trio of condiments and will be an ideal warmer for the colder months ahead. Proving popular with Seoul Night's ever-expanding regular customer base is the Korean fried chicken. Paired with a generous portion of shoestring fries, two sauces and pickled radish, it's worth its weight in napkins. Accompanied with disposable gloves, you can attempt to keep some of the mess at bay but it's best enjoyed without the worry.

Also worth noting is the speciality kumara cheese chicken. Here, sweet meets savoury and ensures the success of this dish. Lightly glazed chicken strips are topped with garden greens and freshly sliced chilli, so it comes as no surprise to find out that this dish is a best seller night after night.

Swinging its vending machine-like doors open from 5pm every night of the week through until the wee hours of the morning, with the exception of Sunday, it would seem Seoul Night has your Korean culinary cravings sorted.
