Bistro Guillaume x Baker Bleu Takeover

Overview

This August, one of Australia's most renowned French chefs is teaming up with one of the most beloved bakeries to bring Sydneysiders a limited-edition collaboration not to be missed. Chef Guillaume Brahimi will bring a curated menu of his signature bistro classics to Double Bay's Baker Bleu, from Thursday, August 6, to Sunday, August 9. 

"The dishes on this menu are my most highly requested bistro dishes, and are ones I love to cook. I have missed cooking them for Sydney. Six years is a long time. To bring them back, in a room this intimate and with a team this passionate about what they do, is something I have been looking forward to," says Brahimi. 

The neighbourhood bakery will transform into an inviting bistro as the sun sets, where Brahimi will serve a four-course menu over four nights. The dishes, many of which are featured in his cookbook released earlier this year, capture Brahimi's signature French flair, generous cooking, and technical precision that have defined his career. 

The $ 190-per-person menu allows diners to choose between the likes of onion soup or cheese soufflé, roast chicken with tarragon jus or steak au poivre, and profiteroles or lemon tart. A curated wine list showcases Brahimi's personal favourite drops.

A spot at this exclusive experience will be the hottest ticket in town, with only nine tables available per service. Bookings are only available by phone and will be released on Thursday, July 2.

Guillaume has been a longtime champion of our bread, and we are so thrilled to host him.
