Overview

“Gorged on Creativity... for Now” is the inaugural exhibition of Urban Art Binge. The collaborative teaching and workshop initiative is the creation of Brisbane’s own Emily Fong and Joannah Underhill, now in its second year.

The exhibition celebrates Brisbane’s diversity and spirit, the first of its kind: it’s comprised by the work of 45 local and budding artists, who take us from the cranes at the Port of Brisbane to the pirouettes of a Saturday morning ballet class in Bardon.

Emily and Joannah seek to evoke a spark of creativity in their students, as well as to document a sense of place in Brisbane.

Their opening night is free will also host live music and a sketch event, creating an all-round celebration of our own artistic inspiration as a city. Head to Jugglers Art Space to binge on visually stimulating art.
