FOUR BRISBANE BARS WITH VIEWS FOR DAYS

in partnership with

From the twinkling city skyline to sweeping riverside views, these Brissie bars put on a show that you really shouldn't miss.

Our river city has stepped up to the plate in recent years, with more and more atmospheric watering holes opening their doors to those keen for a drink outdoors. But a chill session cannot be complete without the perfect mix of brews, views and vibes — Brisbanites won't settle for anything less, these days.

With a helping hand from our friends at Heineken, we've compiled a list of four Brisbane bars that boast pretty spectacular views. Grab a Heineken 3 in one hand and your phone in the other and get ready because, trust us, when Brissie puts on a show, you don't want to miss it.

Riverside’s hidden gem Bar Pacino offers up some of the best Story Bridge views in Brisbane. Although it is slightly difficult to find, Bar Pacino’s sophisticated vibes are well worth the required effort. Its inherent Italian streak means that you can’t have drinks without having a bite to eat. We recommend nibbling away on a cheese plate matched with a Heineken 3.

Capitalising on Brissie’s celebrated warm climate, Stokehouse and its openair layout takes casual drinks to a whole new level. With the river right on its doorstep, the venue exudes a relaxed waterside vibe — this extends to the menu which offers a variety of fresh seafood, like prawn and passionfruit ceviche and citrus-cured salmon. Monday to Thursday, you can score a two-course lunch for a neat $45 — it’s easy to see why it has become the go-to spot to unwind.

Steeped in history, The Belvedere has been serving up killer views since 1901 — and you can revel in the riverscape from just about every seat in the house. The Belvedere is the perfect backdrop for pretty much every occasion, from nervous first dates to a few drinks with workmates. It’s a bar that sets out to satisfy your every desire, as shown in the expansive menu that offers a broad range of mains and entrees — steak being the prime choice. Enjoy your beer al fresco and let the good times roll.

Tucked away in the luxurious Sofitel Brisbane Central, this Euro-style bar is home to an extensive drink list to suit any mood. If you’re a fan of French cuisine, you can thank us later for introducing you to your new mon cheri. Cuvée has croissants and cold beer aplenty — and, like any true Parisian, it’s effortlessly chic. Feast your eyes on Brisbane’s twinkling skyline and let your worries subside.
