Love yourself a puffy down jacket? Ten shades of the same t-shirt? A good silk blouse? Rub those paws together. After opening four Sydney stores and two in Melbourne, Japanese fashion heavyweights Uniqlo are finally coming to Queensland.

Opening on Thursday, December 3, the masters of colour blocking will find a snuggly new home in two Queensland spots: a colossal 2054 square metre space on Queen Street and a smaller store on the second level of the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. Both will showcase Uniqlo's spring/summer ‘15 collection, including the brand’s well-known AIRism range.

Uniqlo first found its Australian roots with its Melbourne instalment in April last year, setting up a flagship store in Melbourne's colossal Emporium. These big name retailer openings usually come with some light eye-gouging and hair-pulling, so if you're keen to head along on the first day, take some advice: wear a mouthguard.

Uniqlo will open Thursday, December 3 at 170 Queen Street, Brisbane and Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, 322 Moggill Road, Indooroopilly.
