One Day Sundays

Overview

For the past few years, the One Day crew has been hitting the road, bringing its famous daytime block parties to live music venues around Australia. Now it's time for another round, with DJs from the beloved Sydney hip hop collective bouncing back to Brisbane for a One Day Sundays session on March 17.

Taking place in a new Brissie spot — aka taking over X Cargo — One Day Sundays will see the One Day crew team up with local DJs and artists as they roll through the Fortitude Valley shipping container hangout. Expect food, booze, live graffiti and a whole bunch of hip hop, with Nick Lupi, Klasik, Dzyr, Sir Likwish, Cheq and Josef Mack on the bill.

Even better — this day-long shindig is free, because the best things are as the song goes. Bring your wallet to grab a few drinks, as well as a bite to eat. Making shapes is hungry and thirsty work, after all.
