Overview

It doesn't take much to turn a day at the Regatta into a party — but when the iconic Brissie pub really wants to throw a shindig, it knows how to go about it. Enter Regatta Fair, the fifth annual occasion dedicated to three days of riverside food, booze and hanging out.

Taking place between Friday, April 5 and Sunday, April 7, it's an excuse to eat, drink and be merry at one of the city's favourite haunts — and you won't hear us complaining about that. Who doesn't want to wander beneath the fairy lights in the venue's laneway, peruse stalls selling all your favourite stomach fillers and thirst quenchers, and listen to DJ sets and live music in the process?

Anyone keen on truffle and porcini mushroom arancini, smokehouse pork tacos, Belgian-style waffles and strawberry cheesecake won't be disappointed, so arrive hungry. And neither will those after an a range of wines, beers, ciders, sparkling, whisky or pina coladas, so arrive with a hankering for a beverage or several — and for a fun afternoon.

Entry is free — and you can either pay as you eat and drink, or fork out $45 for four beverage tokens and one food token.
