Overview

It has been more than a year since Three Blue Ducks made the move to Brisbane, opening its first restaurant north of the New South Wales border. All year round, it serves up impressive meals with views to match, with the latter coming courtesy of its North Quay digs — but this winter, it's also dishing up hearty roasts.

If there's a hearty comfort food that's better suited for cooler weather, we're yet to find it. Here, the roast comes with roast will coffee-rubbed brisket, rosemary potatoes, dutch carrots, roasted garlic, and zucchini and mint salad. Your $38 meal also features with a glass of wine, and you can pick from Quealy Pinot Grigio, Quealy Pinot Noir or Riot Wine Co Rosé.

Unsurprisingly, this is a Sunday special, running from midday each week — and available for both lunch and dinner. Just remember to head in for a feast while it's still officially winter, because the roasts will stop at the end of August.
