Nothing says "goodbye work week, hello weekend" like a shot of tequila — or a whole evening sipping the agave spirit. And while dedicating an entire night to the beverage doesn't always sound like a great idea, it's paired with tastings and food at the Pig 'n' Whistle's Tequila and Tacos shindig.
From 6.30pm on Friday, June 6, trying different types and eating the appropriate cuisine is on the menu at the pub's Brunswick Street venue. Yep, it's a classy tequila night — the kind that won't leave you feeling seedy all weekend.
Tickets cost $35, which includes a drink on arrival, food, samples and another drink before you head out into the evening. There'll also be live music, but we're guessing the band won't play the song you're now thinking about — and will likely have stuck in your head for the next few days. Still, it wouldn't be a night drinking tequila without someone loudly exclaiming the beverage's name.
