The Ekka Races
The annual Exhibition Holiday Racing Carnival is on again at the Eagle Farm Racecourse, and is jam packed with enough attractions to compare with the Ekka itself.
Overview
Although kids of all ages can enjoy the Ekka and its wondrous offerings, the annual carnival also gives us adults a chance to suit up, frock up and gear up for the Exhibition holiday races!].
This year, the races will also feature performances from Ruby Rose, Tenzin and Bombs Away as well as a Silent Disco. A half-pipe has been erected for a BMX and skateboarding exhibition as well as the usual fashion contests.
Be sure to but your best foot forward and get amongst the carnival spirit. Maybe you might even be lucky enough to pick a few winners in the horse races themselves.
