Overview

Move over Walking Dead, Zombatland has arrived.

Set in Blue Lagoon Caravan Park, a tranquil paradise situated in the middle of the Australian outback, things just aren't right. Something goes wrong amongst the local wombats. Terribly wrong. A mysterious disease sweeps though the population turning the wombats into blood-thirsty demons.

The Guardian described Suitcase Royale's new show, Zombatland, as, “Tom Waits meets the Mighty Boosh ” - that's one big call Guardian. But when you hear the premise of this new performance, as well as the abundance of similar reviews, pretty hard not to agree.

This show is founded on Suitcase Royale's recognisable twisted humour, with a combination of live music, junkyard sets and hilariously innovative concepts and ideas. It's hard to find a show that provides a new twist on the classic Zombie story, but Suitcase Royale nail it pretty perfectly with Zombatland.
