Familiar name. Mighty fine food.

Overview

Arlette's isn't the kind of name you hear every day — but it does keep popping up among Brisbane's eateries. First, there was Arlette's Bistro in New Farm. Then came Arlette's Kitchen in Scarborough. Now, meet the new Arlette's Kitchen in Albion.

Yes, the same chef, Linton Smith, has had a hand in all three — and yes, fans of the mighty fine food at his previous establishments should get excited. Just prepare to see a heavy focus on Asian-inspired meals among the European-influenced dishes Smith has become known for.

That means diners can enjoy the best of both worlds via the six-entrée, six-main menu served up for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. Indeed, it's a mix-and-match affair, with starters such as duck and cognac pate and prawn and green papaya salad sitting alongside roasted pork belly with carrot puree and spiced honey glaze and vegetarian jungle curry stir-fry. And whatever you choose, it's delicious.
