Cook & Co. Bar and Grill

A grill-heavy menu and a selection of bar boards? Sounds tastier than your usual hotel eatery.

Meet the hotel eatery that locals and guests alike will want to try. That's what Cook & Co. Bar and Grill is aiming for from its prime position on the reception level of Mantra on Queen on the edge of the CBD and Fortitude Valley.

If the timber-heavy decor doesn't give it away, then the likely smell of cooking meat will, with the restaurant keen on everything seared and made mouth-watering atop its char grill. Of a morning, that includes continental and hot buffet breakfasts; later in the day, the line-up features steak, spatchcock, prawns and fish. The corned wagyu silverside is their specialty, but those looking for something made in pots and pans might want to try the Spanish seafood broth made with chorizo and citrus, or the Southern-style beef short ribs.

If a drink and a quick bite is more what you're after, that's where Cook & Co.'s bar and board menu comes in. Choose from hot meats, charcuterie, seafood and vegetarian, as well as one- or two-person servings. Whether you're settling in or just dropping by, everything goes well with a selection of boutique wines and craft beers.

Find Cook & Co. Bar and Grill at 570 Queen Street, Brisbane. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
