Overview

Zushi is no secret. It has won several voters' choice awards and has a permanent line of sashimi searchers outside its door. Not too long ago a Crown Street restaurant was added to the Victoria Street original. The Crown Street haunt is larger in size and menu than its forebear.

The menu kicks off with a selection of bowls and bentos available for lunch from Monday to Friday. The karaage donburi comes with deep-fried chicken and honey mayo with broccoli, Japanese coleslaw and sesame mayo, while vegetarians can enjoy a donburi with crispy tofu, edamame beans, mushrooms and caramelised miso. If you're after a bento, give the miso salmon a go. It comes with baby cos, quinoa, sashimi and a signature roll that regularly changes. It's the perfect light lunch that will still have you feeling full.

From the a la carte menu, order some oysters and wakame salad with seaweed and cucumber to start, while a twenty piece sashimi platter makes the perfect entree. The mains include a deliciously succulent wagyu steak served medium rare with sautéed shiitake mushrooms and garlic chips. If you're vegan or vegetarian they have you covered with a seperate menu, featuring everything from grilled broccolini, to cauliflower karaage and corn ribs. These make the perfect sides for a main or mix them together and create your own feast.

These days, you can even head over to the Barangaroo Zushi as well — getting all the same favourites within seek new surrounds.
