Overview

Molto Italian in Kingston is an Italian restaurant that celebrates traditional Italian cooking and gives it a modern twist. The restaurant pays homage to owner Carlo Tosolini's Italian heritage and celebrates Italian food and culture. Here, everything is made by hand in the open kitchen — which features a woodfired pizza oven.

The restaurant seats 130 people in its sleek dining room that boasts high ceilings and a backdrop of Canberra's expansive Lake Burley Griffin. The menu features shared plates, fresh salumi and cheese from the in-house deli (hello, truffle pecorino, we're looking at you), woodfired pizza, handmade pasta, and meat main courses that are different every day of the week. Once you've decided on your mains, add a vegetable side — but be sure to leave room for Nonna's tiramisu.

No Italian meal is complete without a tipple. On that front, your bases are well and truly covered with an extensive range of Aussie and Italian wines on offer, plus beer, classic cocktails and digestifs.
