Concrete Playground's Most-Read Stories of 2017
From tiny houses to bars guilty of cultural appropriation, here are the stories that resonated most with you this year.
As we approach the end of the year, here at Concrete Playground, we stop to take a glance backwards — to take stock of what happened in Sydney in 2017 and how the city has changed. As always, there's been a lot of notable developments.
Our most popular stories of the year — the ones that resonated with you the most — include the opening of mini-golf bar Holey Moley, a new development in the inner west and the Surry Hills bar that was slammed for cultural appropriation. But, most of all, you just wanted to get away from it all. Our story on Unyoked — a local startup making tiny houses and placing them in remote NSW locations — has been the most-read story this year. So in 2018, make time for mini getaways — pack it all in for an email-less weekend of hikes, sunsets and self-care.
