Overview

When Four Hearts Brewing Pumpyard Bar and Brewery opened early in 2015, it became Ipswich's first new brewery in more than a century. That's quite a feat, but it hasn't stopped there.

The brewery has seven brews on its usual lineup — including a tropical fruit-laden new world pilsner and the Ipswich Challenger, a light English mild with notes of mandarin, green tea and spice — and it rotates in seasonal specials on the regular, too.

There's more where they came from, including take-home growlers, but if hanging out and having a few takes your fancy, then grabbing a meal is a smart idea. Frickles, sweet potato fries, pulled pork and smoky BBQ brisket burgers, five types of pizzas, and steak, lamb, fish and salad mains are just the beginning — of the food options, and of your Ipswich eating and drinking bonanza.
