Overview
Two rising hip hop forces are set to perform in Auckland and Wellington.
Brooklyn's Joey Bada$$ came out of the woodwork in 2010 by posting freestyling clips on Youtube. Alongside his crew Pro Era he now leads a new wave of young rappers coming out of the East Coast. His second New Zealand performance in 12 months will come off the back of his long-awaited debut album B4.Da.$$.
Also making their way back in quick succession are hip hop duo Run The Jewels. El-P and Killer Mike, performed at this year's Laneway Festival to great acclaim. The follow-up to their self-titled debut album, is due for release late October on Nas' Mass Appeal Records, just in time for the January concerts.
