It seems, then, almost guaranteed that So Frenchy So Chic in the Park is a Sydney Festival will sound over and above the usual sounds of Aussie summer. But all reductive stereotypes aside: with Lilly Wood & the Prick, Féfé and ten-piece ska band Babylon Circus, it’s got to be a good day.
It's all happening at Sydney Uni’s St John’s College, and you can buy a gourmet hamper or picnic box on the day (which includes tarte tartin, provencal pork belly terrine, tortes and other French fare) for the January 18 affair. Tres bloody chic.
