Old Fitzroy Short Films
A free independent film night that perfectly compliments the Old Fitz's famous laksa.
Overview
The Old Fitz is a pub with a surprising reputation for pushing the envelope, be it innovative theatre, delicious laksa or establishing their own democratic republic for the pleasure of patrons.
It therefore comes as no surprise that this is the venue for a new independent film night. Appropriately titled Old Fitzroy Short Films, the gig is run by Mark Paul an affable chap who also operates Invictus Productions. It's free for filmmakers to submit work and free for you to wander on in and watch. It all happens on the third Thursday of every month, and I'd suggest you look out for it.
