Overview

Located just a ten-minute walk from Bankwest Stadium and set in the bustling Parramatta downtown, the local instalment of Cuban-themed diner Coco Cubano offers outdoor seating, an extensive all-day menu and fiesta vibes aplenty. For breakfast, you can tuck into Cuban eggs benedict with slow-cooked pulled pork, smashed avo or toatsed waffles with berry compote.

Later in the day, sip Aperol spritzes, frosé and piña coladas, or grab jugs of sangria and Pimm's for the table. Then tuck into Cuban pub eats that include tapas — think fish, grilled chicken or falafel tacos, mushroom and capsicum quesadillas, salt and pepper calamari and haloumi fries — plus, giant bowls of loaded nachos and burgers. And yes, pressed sandwiches are also available — we recommend the classic Cubanito with slow-cooked pork, ham, swiss cheese and smoky chipotle mayo. But also be sure to save room for dessert — there's traditional churros on offer which you can enjoy with ice cream and melted chocolate or in sundae form with brownie crumble, dulce de leche and chocolate fudge.
