Few quality restaurants will sort you out with a delicious three-course meal and a cocktail for the tidy price of $60 but that’s exactly what you can get for lunch at CBD favourite Esteban throughout May.
Head Chef Angus Harrison has put a modern Australian twist on Mexican dishes that champion local produce for the menu. You’ll start with a classic margarita and a prawn aguachile with cucumber, coriander, desert lime and avocado. Then, choose between the ironbark-grilled chicken with spring onion, guajillo and mulato salsa or the woodfired broccolini with pea mole, Patron blanco and lime vinaigrette. A trio of exceptional sweet potato treats in the form of a tart, meringue and ice cream will round out the experience.
