Overview

Internationally recognised Anita Gelato has arrived in North Sydney, bringing its signature scoops and loaded frozen yoghurts to Victoria Cross. The new store adds to the blossoming hospitality offering, with the precinct evolving from a commuter hub into a day-to-night drinking and dining destination.

Anita Gelato, founded as a family-run artisan gelato kitchen in 2002, has now expanded across continents with stores in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America. It's loved for its rich and decadent gelato, available in more than 150 rotating flavours, and frozen yoghurt with unlimited toppings, all crafted with premium ingredients and attention to detail.

"Victoria Cross is such an exciting precinct, and we're thrilled to be part of its next chapter. North Sydney is evolving rapidly into a destination in its own right. The community is vibrant, food-curious, and always looking for quality experiences, and we believe Anita is a perfect fit for the precinct. We can't wait to welcome North Sydney and the wider community into our store," says Gisèle Dussault, Marketing Manager of Anita Gelato.

Designed by Bates Smart and developed by Lendlease, Victoria Cross (known as VicX) is a massive development transforming an entire CBD block in North Sydney. With a strong focus on sustainability, all concourse retail tenants will be fully electric in operation, with power purchased from renewable sources.

"We are so excited to welcome Anita Gelato to VicX. Anita is such a beloved brand, and having them open on Miller Street is a real indication of where this precinct is headed. We're building something really special here, and we can't wait for North Sydney to have their very own Anita," says Monique de Cseuz, Director of Retail and Place at Lendlease.

To celebrate the launch, Anita Gelato North Sydney will be slinging free scoops for the first 500 customers on Saturday, June 27.
