The MCA gets in shape for its April late night out.
Overview
Art plus bar. This almost universal gallery opening deal is a pretty tasty mix already. But the MCA adds extras to this time-honoured tradition with its now SMAC-winning series ARTBAR. They're evenings of strange and interesting things at play among the art, recurring monthly and curated by a rotating cast of local artists.
This month the MCA is defying the dangers of the gymnasium and taking a poll of nine performance artists on the subject of the Workout. All nine artists will bring their creative exercise to the gallery floor. So get ready for an evening of activity for the brain, the body and the drinking arm.
