Overview
See the film that many have tipped to clean up big at this year's Oscars, at one of a handful of gala previews on New Year's Eve. Set in New York City during the early 1950s, Carol follows two women — played by Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara — who embark on a forbidden romance with drastic consequences for them both. The film is due to release in mid-January, however Palace Cinemas are hosting early NYE screenings at Palace Verona and Norton Street.
Attendees with receive a glass of Brown Brothers Prosecco on arrival, as well as a complimentary ticket to see Brooklyn – another potential awards contender – when it hits cinemas on February 11.
