Kicking off with crunchy prawn crackers, heart-shaped prawn toast and vegetable dumplings, this set menu ($49) soon moves to the main event; steamed fish with ginger and shallots, served with rice and steamed greens. Before the feast is over, Hong Kong-style French toast provides a suitably sweet finale for this celebration of kindred spirits.
Popularised by the relentlessly optimistic Leslie Knope in the TV show Parks and Recreation, Galentine's Day has taken on a life of its own in recent years. So, follow Knope's advice and get around "ladies celebrating ladies."
