Inner West Night Market
An easy-going market packed with food, drinks and produce in the heart of the inner west.
Overview
Making its long-awaited return this September, the Inner West Night Market is finally back and showcasing the food and culture of Marrickville and its surrounding suburbs. Hop off at the Sydenham Station or stroll to Fraser Park on the first Friday of each month to eat and drink, dance to live music, and explore stalls stocked with clothing, jewellery and fresh produce.
Although less established than its counterparts in Balmain, Glebe, and Haymarket, the Inner West Markets brings a renewed focus on community to the area — and, as an added bonus, is open well into the night. That means it's the perfect place for a Friday night meal, to pick up produce for the weekend, or to meet mates to wind down from the working week.
The lineup is yet to be released, but previous food stalls have ranged from momos and woodfired pizza to Parrilla Argenchino's South American barbecue to freshly baked bread and pastries from Brickfields in Chippendale.
Catch the Inner West Night Markets on the first Friday of the month from 5–10pm from September 2.And yes, dogs are welcome — just make sure they're on a leash (and you clean up after them).
