Open Studio with Art Vs Science

The boys behind the synthesisers are laying down some sweet new beats this week, and you're invited to watch, hang and even bust out your own bangin' tunes.

Overview

Sydney dance pop darlings Art vs Science have always said that they work well under pressure, and this week is giving them the opportunity to prove that to the public.

Within the panopticon that is Ben Sherman’s flagship store in the Sydney Arcade, the boys behind the 2009 classic Parlez-Vous Francais? are recording a new record, all under the watchful eye of their audience. And not only do the huddled masses get to observe the way-cool wunderkinder at work, they also have the chance to participate.

As a part of Pedestrian's Open Studio initiative, all you've got to do is let them know what sound you'd like to bring to the record, and you might just get to. So figure out your best jam and lay it down. But be quick; they're only there 9am to 5pm until Friday, February 21.

As celebrity culture and musicians move further and further away from their audiences, the Open Studio by Pedestrian, Ben Sherman and Art vs Science brings the music back to the people. Rock on.
