Supper Club: The Dip Reunion
Goodgod Small Club's American-style diner is throwing a ten-year reunion party, and its bringing some big names.
Overview
Supper Club is the new series of one-off dining experiences popping up over the June long weekend. Sydneysiders will be treated to dinner and a show featuring the likes of Archie Roach, Mark Olive and Donnie Bennet.
Topping off the long weekend party on Sunday, June 13 is a reunion of The Dip, the restaurant formerly inside the beloved CBD bar and live music venue Goodgod Small Club.
Opened in 2011 by Andrew and Bianca Levins, The Dip served up American-style barbecue and burgers to partygoers through the early 2010s before it made way for Jonkanoo Canteen in 2014 and Goodgod's eventual closure in 2015. Levins will be on hand and will be joined by an array of Sydney culinary and musical favourites. Mitch Orr (Pilu, ex-ACME), Clayton Wells (Automata) and Mike Eggert (Totti's/Pinbone) will be adding their signature touches to The Dip's hearty late-night meals, while the music will be handled by a roster of former Goodgod regulars including Halfway Crooks, Joyride, Ariane and Charlie Chux. If that wasn't enough, the 2010's DJ trio Hoops will be reuniting for a special one-off set.
Tickets are $39.90, which includes 12 hours of partying at Mary's Underground and a three-hour feast of nightclub eats including burgers and Southern barbecue.
