Head over to the Standard for a raunchy night of 'burtonesque'. Yup, that's right: Tim Burton + burlesque = 'burtonesque'. A collection of film director, writer and producer Tim Burton's most famous characters are set to dance for audiences in Gallery Burlesque's production of The Land of Timania.
The stage is bound to get racy with the likes of Miss Nic parading as Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Venus Vamp as Corpse Bride, SluTaris as Nightmare Before Christmas's Oogie Boogie, and many more. Shadow puppeteers and balloon sculptures round out this twisted tribute to the king of the creepy-crawly.
