'Dino Ribs', pulled pork, brisket; Black Betty BBQ has made Petersham carnivores roar since opening at The Oxford Tavern in July 2014. Now, the Americana-lovin' eatery is opening its second home; heading for fellow Drink 'N' Dine pub The Forresters in Surry Hills.

Set to launch from Australia Day eve (Sunday, January 25), the American-style barbecue joint will be serving up smoked meats every Sunday from midday in the Forresters beer garden— yep, Queenie's isn't moving if you just freaked out quietly. Nosh-wise we're talking ribs, brisket, burnt end beans, pulled pork and the ever epic 'Dino Ribs' — best leave your vegetarian friends out of this invite.

The meaty goodness extends to the drinks menu. Tackle a Bloody Mary for $10, or upgrade that veggie bevvy to a Bloody Fried Chook — served with a fried chicken garnish. Just go with it. If cocktails aren't your style, $4 tinnies might be. If there were a better cure for the meat sweats than a shrapnel-priced tinnie, we haven't seen one.

With live music from 3pm, looks like the Forrie's could be the perfect summer Sunday plan for Sydney meat fiends.

Black Betty launches at The Forresters (corner of Foveaux and Riley Streets, Surry Hills) on Sunday, January 25. Food from 12pm until sold out, live music from 3pm.
