Sydney's Cat Cafe Might Be the Best Cat Cafe Yet

The theme? Space. The name? Catmosphere.

Looks like brunch in the inner-city is about to get a hell of a lot more adorable. Hot on the heels of Cat Cafe Melbourne, a group of enterprising Sydney kitties are opening an eatery of their own (that's how it works, right?). Oh, and did we mention that the entire place has an astronaut theme?

Visitors will be able to enjoy a bite of lunch or a cup of coffee while showing the cafe’s resident cats some much-needed love. Other information on Catmosphere Cafe — slated to open doors at some point in July — is still relatively slim. According to their recently launched website, “Catmosphere is a tribute and a home to brave astro-cats returning to Earth with many a tale of outer space adventures ... join us for a coffee, a meal, or maybe a nice cool drink for the purr-fect escape from the daily grind and a chance to play with our furry friends as they enjoy gravity and observe us humans in our natural habitats.”

We're not 100 percent sure this story isn’t just a brilliant piece of viral marketing for a heretofore unannounced Thundercats reboot. In the 'real deal' column, there is a Catmosphere in Chiang Mai, Thailand with 142 reviews on TripAdvisor, and this looks like the spin-off.

You can keep up to date with Catmosphere Cafe Sydney via their website, Facebook and Instagram. Also, here’s a whole bunch of cat photos.
