Sydney Christmas Markets for Last-Minute Present Shopping

Wandering around a big chain-like shopping mall at Christmas time can often make you want to throw yourself into a vat of eggnog and actually try figgy pudding (what the hell is that?). Digression aside, trudging through a moshpit of shoppers scrambling to seize your perfect present from your helpless holiday hands isn't our idea of Christmas spirit. Sure, you could shop online, or you could find yourself meandering through stalls of locally-made goods, trying freshly baked goods and having a cheeky festive beer while you browse. Sydney's Christmas markets showcase local designers and strive to throw a little yuletide shindig while they're at it.
