Bondi Pizza is introducing a new range of premium, delectable Detroit Deep Dish to the Sydney pizza scene. Fancy a slice? Say goodbye to NYC-style slices and Chicago deep dish to embrace a crisp rectangle of thick, crunchy, cheesy Detroit goodness. It's a craze that swept the US, now its made its away across the Pacific to Sydney.
What sets Detroit Deep Dish apart? Picture a rectangular pizza with much more verticality than you're used to. It starts with a thick, airy base that's been fermented for at least 24 hours and baked in a pan shipped especially from the States. The pièce de résistance is the caramelised, crunchy edge of cheese (the holy grail of Detroit- style deep dish pizza). Bondi Pizza cuts these into four, so we don't have to fight over that crispy edge.
Bondi Pizza locations in Eastgardens, Macquarie and Parramatta are offering an impressive lineup of seven Detroit Deep Dish Pizza items. Think slow-cooked beef brisket, or USA pepperoni with jalapenos and a drizzle of the iconic Mike's Hot Honey. Pizzas range from $26 to $28, but we are giving you an exclusive $10 off.
