Overview
Al Yasmin has been feeding Sydney's south-west for three decades. It was once part of the Jasmin 1 chain that spread across the city, and while it now stands alone, the food, the value and the crowds haven't changed.
Walk in, and it's straight to business: bright lighting, brisk service, no fuss. Sit down and complimentary bread, dips and nibbles land on the table before you've even ordered — which makes it almost impossible not to over-order once the huge menu arrives. Wraps start at $10; mains are around $25 and are built for sharing; and the bread is made fresh in-house daily. Dine in or take away.
During Ramadan, Al Yasmin also runs an iftar experience — the evening meal that breaks the day's fast at sunset, traditionally shared with family and friends over dates, mezze and hearty mains. It's Al Yasmin's dining room doing what it does best, just timed to the holy month.
Whether you're feeding a family of eight or turning up hungry alone, Al Yasmin is the kind of place that sends everyone home full, without breaking the bank while doing it. Open throughout the day, every day.
