There are few things more satisfying than a perfectly loaded taco. We're talking soft corn tortillas, succulent meats, charred vegetables, coriander, lime and lots of chilli. Enter El Gusano Taqueria in Collaroy.

Open Tuesday – Saturday from 5pm, El Gusano serves up Mexican food, that is fresh, light and delicious. Tuck into a ceviche and guacamole to start while you decide which of the ten types of tacos you want to order. Our picks are the carnitas — stuffed with slow-cooked pork with crackling — and the wild mushroom and truffle taco. Wash it all down with a cold beer or margarita — or both — and come back next week for more.
