Overview
The Capella opened its doors in March 2023, offering guests understated luxury in the heart of the city. One of the many draw cards of the hotel is its stunning day spa Auriga Spa, which was initially exclusively available for use by hotel guests. Now, The Capella has opened up its doors to the public, offering a range of beauty and relaxation treatments to Sydneysiders looking to dial up their selfcare credentials.
The space is a soothing sophisticated sanctuary, all muted amber lighting, calming timber interiors, walls of greenery and luxury amenities (the skincare products are made by Byron Bay brand Synthesis Organics).
The program of treatments covers everything from signature massages and facials, to body treatments and one-of-a-kind spa experiences like the Connect to Country treatment which incorporates stones gathered from throughout Australia, collected and used with permission from Indigenous Elders.
Prices start from $220 and go up to $420 for the Signature Rituals treatments. All bookings include use of the steam and sauna facilities, experiential showers and an ice fountain up to 30 minutes prior to an Auriga Spa appointment, so give yourself plenty of time to make the most of it.
Then, if you really want to make a day of it, treat yourself to lunch downstairs at the gorgeous hotel restaurant Brasserie 1930, courtesy of the Bentley Group.
Auriga Spa is open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. Book at the website.
