Overview

If you're looking for your next date spot, you hate the seats at the movies or you and the gang just need a cheap night out, then look no further than the Outdoor Drive-In. From the comfort of your own zippy Suzuki Swift, your lowered Subaru Legacy or your beaten-up Toyota Hilux with the sheepskin seat covers, Friday, 21 September has you covered with a good, private night out — it's just you, the new Aladdin movie and a few other cars.

For $35 Firefly Cinemas are offering an absolute bargain — jam pack your swag mobile with a group of mates, snack and supplies and you've got a Friday night even Courtenay Place couldn't rival. With a coffee cart on stand-by throughout the evening, and no one in the crowd trying to shush you for opening a bag of crisps too loudly, Firefly Cinemas could well have changed the way we see films. The evening is strictly alcohol-free though, so no smuggling in a flask — there will be kids around who also want to enjoy the movie.

Although the film starts at 7.30pm, it might be best to get there earlier in order to find a great park — if you're really intending on watching Aladdin. Tickets can be bought online, and the parking spots are rapidly decreasing, so if you're an Aladdin fan, or you really like the idea of eating in your car at the movies, book yourself a space now to avoid the ultimate disappointment.
