Coastella 2019

Overview

A weekend of beers, beats and an awesome time guaranteed, the Coastella music festival is going down at Southward's Amphitheatre in Paraparaumu on Saturday, 23 February 2019.

The festival opens at 1pm on Saturday and runs on till 9pm, with round two being offered on Sunday in the form of Coasted — an afternoon of banging tunes presented by Radioactive.fm and a guest appearance by local Kapiti hip hop group, Pimlico.

The grounds will be converted into a fun-filled summer haven, complete with a stage (perfectly suited for the lineup), a diverse selection of food vendors hand picked by Wellington on a Plate, and plenty activities and room for the kiddies to play.

The Kapiti coast may (for some) be a little far out to drive up just for the day, so the organisers have compiled all the info you'd need for buses, shuttles and trains. There really is no excuse to miss this vibrant outdoor experience.

Paraparaumu is a lovely part of the Kapiti coastline, and it's well worth the visit.
