Overview

Throughout our history, young Kiwis have always strived for positive change. We are a bunch of unabashed big picture thinkers and high achievers. With so much energy and potential, the question is, how do we tackle those big issues? The answer is, together.

With this in mind, Inspiring Stories, a charity dedicated to the potential of young New Zealanders, created the Festival for the Future. Since 2011, the festival has created a platform to exchange ideas and discuss solutions. The festival itself a weekend of seminars, panel discussions and workshops focused on creating a better future of New Zealand.

Throughout the weekend, each session is run by top CEOs, entrepreneurs and educators. The entire focus is to find solutions to the big issues like child poverty, sustainable and attainable housing, and mental wellbeing in the workplace. The list of speakers include, James Shaw (Minister of Climate and Statistics), Georgina Beyer (the world's first openly transgender mayor), Louise Aitken (CEO of the Ākina Foundation) and many more.

Festival for the Future 2018 will be held at TSB Arena from Friday, 27 July. Spaces are limited, so make sure you get in quick for tickets.
