Overview

With its many botanical flavours and local creators, it's no secret that the 2019 gin-naissance is in full bloom. Just in our little capital city alone we have recently seen specialist bars and distilleries pop up in celebration of this sweet spirit. And yet, this summer, the folks at St. Johns are treating us Wellingtonians to the biggest gin-dulgence we've had so far.

The GIY — gin-it-yourself evening — gives you the opportunity to experiment and create your perfect G&T from a wide selection of local and international gins. The experience itself includes your pick of four gins to mix and match with a range of tonics and botanicals. With the many concoctions you can create, it'll be great for a group of mates to sip, share and compare.

Alongside the bar staff, the chef's will also be working hard to provide you some complimentary canapés for your tipples. However, there are only ten two-hour weekend sessions available, starting on Sunday, 1 December and wrapping up on the 15th. There's no doubt that spaces fill up quick.
