Overview

Far from common, the Hannahs Laneway Commons brings you the best that everyone’s favourite little laneway has to offer. For two nights during Wellington on a Plate you can let loose on the gastronomic delights of Leeds Street Bakery, Pizza Pomodoro, Wellington Chocolate Factory, Egmont St. Eatery, Red Rabbit Roastery and Golding’s Free Dive, as they collaborate in a mess hall-style canteen. Don’t let the canteen description fool you though, these guys are culinary masters, and everything coming out of their kitchens is sure to put any other canteen you’ve ever been in to shame.

Alongside the tantalising line up of food, you can also whet (and wet) your palate with a variety of Garage Project beers and locally sourced wine. Does it get any better?

Unlike many of the other Wellington on a Plate events, the Hannahs Laneway Commons is “pay on consumption”, which saves you from any pre-event admin – just head down on the night. However, be sure to either bring a fat wallet or a full stomach, because with this line up, consumption is likely to be at an all-time high.
