Wellington's psychedelic rock three-piece Mermaidens are back with their own one-day music festival, Mermgrown, on Saturday, 20 February.

Held at Newtown's Workingmen's Bowling Club, the all-ages outdoor festival will feature Mermaidens as they perform some new bangers, as well as Womb, Emily Edrosa, Hans Pucket, Motte, Zero Cool, Ludus, PollyHill, Freya Daly Sadgrove and Black Spider Stomp.

There will be an art market curated by Mouthfull, merch for sale and lawn bowls for those inclined. A bar will be slinging cheap bevvies and Two Girls One Taco will be dishing up fresh Mexican fare. Ticket holders are also welcome to bring a picnic.

Mermgrown 2020 sold out within weeks of being announced, so don't dilly dally. Tickets are on sale now from Undertheradar. Kids aged 13 and under get in free.
