Overview

Since her debut album Lush came out last year, Snail Mail (the indie rock creation of Lindsey Jordan) has been leaping from strength to strength. With a sound that evokes 90s stalwarts Cat Power and Sonic Youth, she's garnered warm reviews from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone. She completed her first headliner tour across the States at the beginning of last year.

Growing up in Baltimore, Jordan began learning the guitar at five. At sixteen she released her first EP. Now — with upcoming dates across New Zealand, Australia, the US and Europe — the American singer-songwriter is about to show the world what she's got. And it's pretty impressive, especially considering that she only recently finished high school. Like Lorde, her songs explore the ups, downs, ins and outs of being young in today's world.

You can catch Snail Mail at Meow on Thursday, 14 March. You won't want to miss it.
