Tex-Mex Bites Night
Delicious vegetarian bite-sized delights for your Thursday night.
Overview
Give a little back to the community and tuck into a five-course meal of botanas (little bites), all for a good cause. Created by Amber Sturtz from Taco Addicts, Tex-Bex Bites Night is an event focused on giving back and eating sustainable and delicious food together.
Held at the Innermost Gardens in Mt Victoria on Thursday, 30 May, this two-hour dinner event is a fully vegan/vegetarian five-course meal. The menu is seasonal, locally made and mouth-wateringly delicious. With influences from Austin, Texas and Oaxaca, Mexico, Amber and her team have created a menu with indulgent flavours and a fresh, healthy taste.
This dinner is a part of Operation Taco Caravan, a fundraiser to create the ultimate travelling taco truck, serving Wellingtonians every day of the week. In addition to this, one dollar from every ticket will go straight towards Kaibosh's Make a Meal in May, a great cause focusing on feeding Kiwis who are struggling to make ends meet.
The Tex-Mex Bites Night dinner is a simply unmissable event, water is provided but BYO alcoholic drinks. Get in quick and book your tickets as seats are limited.
