The Caker Wellington Pop-Up

Jordan Rondel's The Caker is the go-to for beautifully crafted cakes in Auckland. The Karangahape Road store is a space to treat yourself with decadent mini or whole cakes, sit down for a wedding consultation, or shop for recipe books and cake mix.

You no longer need to make the trip to the big smoke for a slice of lemon strawberry poppyseed — The Caker is coming to the capital for its first-ever pop-up. From 9–10 April, Eli and Suzi from the Auckland team will position themselves at Fix & Fogg's Eva Street window to sell mini cakes, cake kits and recipe books.

There will be four of the most popular The Caker flavours available, including lemon raspberry and miso, sesame and roasted white chocolate. The other two creations have been modified with Fix & Fogg's much-loved nut butters — pick up a banana cinnamon granola butter cake or the flourless dark chocolate with peanut butter.

As a bonus, the team from Coffee Supreme will have a coffee cart set up for the ultimate cake and coffee experience on Friday, April 9. The pop-up runs from 9am to 3pm (or until sold out) on both days.
