This summer Wellington welcomes its first rooftop cinema. Sitting atop The Arborist on Willis Street you'll find your new favourite spot with inflatable chairs, craft beer, snacks and plenty of cult classics. And you won't have to wait long, as The Luna Cinema will be screening its first flick on Monday, 10 February, 2020.

This latest addition to the capital's bar scene adds a whole new experience to your to-do list. With the perfect backdrop of the city and the team at The Arborist making each event special, this outdoor cinema is the perfect chill-out spot for you and your friends.

Catch the first screening of fan favourite Grease, followed by Dirty Dancing, Bohemian Rhapsody and Mamma Mia from February 11 to 13. These four classics are just the beginning of The Luna Cinema's summer program and tickets are selling out fast.

If you miss out on the first screenings, you'll find the same program running across the following week. Each screening will start just after sunset, creating the perfect mood for your outdoor cinema experience.
