Overview

The fourth iteration of Welcome to Nowhere promises a weekend of music, art, poetry comedy and a live reenactment of Shrek. In anticipation of the upcoming music festival, Wellington's Eyegum Music Collective is hosting an epic shindig at a secret location somewhere near Newtown. Enjoy late-night tunes and incredible live poetry.

Welcome to Nowhere will be held at an undisclosed location 50 kilometres inland from Whanganui, just four hours out of Wellington. Attendees will spend the weekend surrounded by amazing Kiwi music, food and a river/swimming hole to enjoy. But if you simply can't wait until January, on Saturday, 2 November you'll get a taste of what's to come.

The night will feature music by Heavy Chest, Hybrid Rose, Ingrid and the Ministers and Potatoes.com, plus poetry performances from Ellen Morgan Butler, Dani Yourukova, Briana Jamieson and Jonathan Peters. Door sales will be $20, however limited early bird tickets start at just $10 a pop. Don't miss out on a night of entertainment, poetry and some excellent music.
