Wellington Armageddon Expo 2021

Overview

New Zealand's largest annual entertainment event, the Armageddon Expo returns to Wellington's Sky Stadium from 17–18 April. It's a celebration of all things geek, where fans of classic and current television series and movies, comics, games, cosplay and animation come together to revel in enjoyment of all things pop culture and beyond.

Attendees have the opportunity to try their hand at the latest games, participate in the famous Armageddon cosplay contest or pick up the latest merchandise. International stars from The Mandalorian, Supergirl, Star Trek, Legends of Tomorrow, and Dragonball Z will be beaming in for virtual panels. Gamers are in luck with esports demonstrations and virtual reality arenas, while further interactive events range from laser tag to axe throwing and droid building. There's also a chilli eating competition.
