Overview
While restaurants, bars and cafes are currently closed to dine-in customers, several businesses are looking at alternative ways to offer their services. In line with the shift to COVID-19 Alert Level 3, which has opened up takeaway, drive-thru and contactless delivery, Wellington's Nourish Group is offering food boxes so you can recreate meals from its lineup of popular eateries.
The My Nourish Kitchen service features signature dishes from Pravda, Shed 5 and Crab Shack, as prepared by the hospitality group's executive chef, Gareth Stewart. Each food box comes with portioned ingredients and step-by-step recipes to complete restaurant-quality meals from the comfort of home.
The boxes will feature a new menu each week, with each dish designed to take no longer than 30 minutes from start to finish. Customers will begin by whipping up Pravda's Taupō scotch fillet with potato rosti, creamed spinach and green peppercorn sauce; Shed 5's Chatham Island hapuka with preserved lemon, chive mash, garden peas and bacon cream; and crab and prawn fettuccine with roasted peperonata, chilli and basil from the Crab Shack.
A three-night box for two people is priced at $137.50, while the four-person option will set you back $265. The meal kits will arrive at your front door via contactless delivery.
